But still so eye-catching..I had the brilliant rule-bending thought that maybe I could make a paper chain for a holiday other than Christmas if my little heart so desired.

And desire it did!

So off to Michael’s I went for some red paper.And I could probably manage something to that extent on my own.. Now, this is not a no-sew project, because that would mean that I was making a basket liner exactly the same way as the “real” ones, but without sewing.

This basket liner is completely fake in everyway.So it’s faux sew!.

You think it looks like a real basket liner, but it’s actually just a big rectangle of fabric draped over top and hot glued onto the basket in a rather convincing manner.. It’s really kind of hard to explain my technique any better than that.I just sort of tucked the fabric around, said to myself “Does that look good-ish?” and put a little dab of glue here and there..
